My name is Juan Vargas, but you can call me Juan or Vargas whatever you want. I’m a Creative Director & Head of Art with a design background with more than 12 years of experience. Nowadays I’m living, thinking, crying, talking, sketching, partying, cooking, eating, dancing and working in Madrid. Currently being a slave of my cat Maki and doing some healthy stuff at VML in my spare time.

Born and raised in Lima, the capital city of Perú. I grew up among Tarot Readers, Cooks, Flamenco Dancers, Musicians, Artisans, Teachers, Djs, Tailors and had a 3” minutes fame in a famous local TV show for kids from the 90’s named Nubeluz. When that fame was gone I studied graphic design & advertising, and later did a master in fashion photography.

Lived in Lima (obviously), Santiago & Madrid (for now), worked in several renowned creative shops for brands like Lipton (Global), Lays (Global), HSBC (Global), DP World (Global), Tinder (EMEA), Primark (EMEA), GSK, AstraZeneca, Paypal, Hewlett- Packard, Ouigo, Ruavieja, Amstel, Sanitas, PKU, AFA Zamora, Beigene Santander, Alcampo, Comunitat Valenciana, Palau de les Arts, Kraft, Heinz, Vichy, La Roche-Posay, Chilean National Office for Emergency and others.
