My name is Juan Vargas, but you can call me Juan or Vargas whatever you want. I’m a Creative Director & Head of Art with an Art Direction and Design background with more than 12 years of experience. Nowadays I’m living, thinking, crying, talking, sketching, partying, cooking, making and working in Madrid. Currently doing some healthy stuff at VML.

Born and raised in Lima, the capital city of Perú. I grew up among Tarot Readers, Cooks, Flamenco Dancers, Musicians, Teachers, Djs, Tailors and had a 3” minutes fame in a famous local TV show for kids from the 90’s named Nubeluz. When that fame was gone I studied graphic design & advertising and later did a master in fashion photography.

Lived in Lima (obviously), Santiago & Madrid (for now), worked in several renowned creative shops for brands like Lipton (Global), Lays (Global), HSBC (Global), DP World (Global), Tinder (EMEA), Primark (EMEA), GSK, AstraZeneca, Servier, AFA Zamora, PKU, Beigene, Paypal, Hewlett- Packard, Ouigo, Ruavieja, Sanitas, Santander, Alcampo, Comunitat Valenciana, Amstel, Palau de les Arts, Kraft, Heinz, Chilean National Office for Emergency and others.
